Keep it level: Where possible, create a level, even surface
This site deals with small level changes and uneven topography by creating a series of gentle ramps with level landing areas. Tactiles have been used to good effect, though stronger colour contrast could have been beneficial.
A rail has also been provided along the ground to aid navigation for the visually impaired.
This mixed use development uses ramps between the footpath and shop to ensure it is accessible for all users.
This entrance has been designed to provide level access on a sloping site. The approach space is wide enough to accommodate a variety of users.
