2. Where climate control is required, consider alternatives to revolving doors
This building uses a double set of sliding doors to aid climate control of the building. This assists in maintaining the internal temperature of the building, while still being easy to use for all people.
It is a better alternative to a revolving door, as they can often be confusing and difficult to navigate for people with visual or cognitive impairment, as well as children and assistance dogs!
In this case the revolving door has been especially designed to be easy to use, and adaptable for the maximum number of users. It has the ability to open fully on request, or convert into a conventional sliding door at peak hours of traffic.
