Secondary Entrances

Design to be Seen: Secondary entrances should be easy to locate and distinguishable from the rest of the building
User Journey: The building should be easy to navigate from the secondary entrance and the reception should be easy to locate
Easy Access: Try to keep secondary entrances level, or direct people to an alternative accessible entrance
Receiving Guests: At restricted access or residents-only entrances, direct visitors to the main reception
If your Secondary Entrance is also an Emergency Exit…make sure it acts like one
